Mary Margaret Cozart is an indie folk-rock singer/songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia.
Drawing on roots from Alabama to North Carolina, she channels her love for songwriting into a grounded southern tone. Spanning soulful melancholy to energetic garage rock, Cozart connects her dynamic style with classically trained guitar technique to punctuate bittersweet melodies.
Since entering the Athens music scene in 2019, Cozart has performed across the Southeast and released her 5-song EP “Emerald City” (2021), followed by singles “Interior Design” (2023) and “Maggie’s World” (2025) – named one of Mainline ATL’s best tracks of 2025.
Her debut self-produced LP, Beginner's Luck, arrives September 4, 2026, featuring eleven tracks inspired by movement, relationships, and the tension between agency and granted opportunities.
